Well here I go again! It's an evaluation year for me, which means I am, once again, looking at my teaching practice. I've decided to build on what I've previously done- examining how music and movement help students (particularly EL students) acquire academic vocabulary. This year, some schools in our district have adopted "BoardMath." I have made Boardmath the focus of my action research project this year. In order to provide visuals (as I am a visual learner), I have set up this snapshot to present my research. It is WAY under construction now, so continue to check in. To be honest, I'm not even sure if the link works right! =)
